Cair saddles are designed with panels containing 4 independent Cair Bags which encase foam filled with air.  The flow of air  provides distribution of weight evenly across the panel and therefore the horse's back.  Cair inserts are used to fill areas where the panel does not fit the horse's back evenly.  The air then continues to distribute weight across the panel which contains the panel inserts.  Cair inserts can be used to adjust panels to asymmetrical horse backs.  Cair saddles are quite versatile and yet are easy to ensure consistency across both panels.

Flock saddles are designed with panels containing flock (wool or synthetic fill) which needs to be stuffed to ensure panels fit evenly across the horses back.  Flocking can be time consuming and requires mastered skill to ensure consistent flocking on both sides of the saddle.
