Different saddles are appropriate for different riders and different horses so it's important that the customer tries a few different saddles to compare which feels most comfortable and provides the best position and then also fits the horse.  The Isabell and Bates Wide can be too wide for petite riders and skinny high withered horses.

For a horse with little top line, it's best to get a highly adjustable saddle and to have the saddle re-fitted regularly as the back changes.  Wide saddles are not suitable for skinny thoroughbreds.  Recommend some more appropriate traditionally thinner saddles such as Bates show saddles which are designed for thoroughbreds.
